Solar Installers

Job Description

• Install solar electric (PV) systems; both mechanical (roofline) fixtures and electrical aspects
• Ensure installations are completed on time and to the highest standards
• Provide technical feedback to the Team Leader (and/or Technical Director) to help continuously improve installation efficiency and standards.

Experience
Essential:

• Effectively communicating with Team Leaders 
• Effectively communicating with clients
• Domestic roofing experience
• Desirable: Solar experience Commercial / Industrial Domestic
• Desirable: Commercial or Industrial electrical experience

Qualifications

Construction related qualifications (eg: NVQ2/3 in slating/tiling)
Electrical qualification (C&G 2382 etc.)
5+ GCSE’s or similar to C grade or above, including Maths and English
Construction Skills Certification Scheme Card; Construction Related Occupation

City & Guilds 2372 (2399) PV training and Working at heights

Skills
Essential:

• Full driving licence
• Fit / able to work at height
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Flexibility as regards working hours
• Able to accommodate occasional nights away from home
